I mentioned that a man asked Maitreya if Maitreya has any powers.
In that entry, I also made up that Maitreya replied by asking the man if it's important.
Now, I'm going to adapt it further with the following :
Man : "People say Buddhas have powers. What power do you have?"
Looking gently and kindly at the man, Maitreya replied,
"The power of ........ LOVE."
"The only power is the Power of Love, of Kindness, of Compassion, of Joy, and of Peace.
And this power alone, is Liberating."
"Lust never lasts;
Only LOVE does."
"Anger can never dispel anger, Hate can never dispel hate;
Only Love.
Only Love can dispel anger, only Love can dispel hate.
This, is an eternal Law."
